EFL clubs are bracing themselves for League One and Two to be curtailed - possibly as early as next week. EFL chairman Rick Parry has insisted they want to play on but there is a growing fear it may not be possible for the bottom two divisions amid concerns about testing, safety and behind closed doors games.

The Championship and the Premier League are committed to finishing their season. But several League One and Two clubs have now admitted they will not be able to play their remaining games.

It would leave them facing the prospect of having to come up with a formula of finishing the season as they will still be under pressure to keep relegation and promotion and using a points-per-game formula has been put forward.
