Edith Bowman is set to host BBC Scotland's Hogmanay coverage, alongside a slew of special guests. Joining the Scots broadcaster to bring in the bells is music sensation Lewis Capaldi, who will be the headlining performer on the night.
Joining 48-year-old host are Outlander star Lauren Lyle, Two Doors Down’s Joy McAvoy, sporting heroes Eilish McColgan and Eve Muirhead, and footballer Lyndon Dykes.There will also be musical performances from rising star Brooke Combe and award-winning Scottish Trad supergroup Mànran.
Edith, who grew up in Fife, hosted the special BBC celebration in 2021 and was delighted to be asked back to bring in the bells one year later.
She said: “It is part of your DNA if you are Scottish, it is so iconic. It was a real proper pinch-me moment, when I got the call for the show last year.
