Valerie Bertinelli is remembering Eddie Van Halen, whom she was married to for 26 years. On Tuesday, Oct. 6, Valerie and Eddie’s 29-year-old son, Wolfgang Van Halen, revealed on social media that his father had died of cancer.

He was 65. “He was the best father I could ever ask for. Every moment I’ve shared with him on and off stage was a gift,” Wolfgang wrote. “My heart is broken and I don’t think I’ll ever fully recover from this loss.
