Eddie Murphy's latest Beverly Hills Cop instalment has been met by rave reviews from fans. Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F sees the Hollywood actor reprise his role as fast-talking officer Axel Foley, 30 years on from the original film.

Released on Netflix last week (July 3), the fourth Beverly Hills Cop movie sees Axel reunite with some familiar faces when his daughter Jane’s (Taylour Paige) life is threatened.

She and Axel team up with a new partner (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) and old pals Billy Rosewood (Judge Reinhold) and Taggart (John Ashton) to uncover a conspiracy.

Top Gun: Maverick's Jerry Bruckheimer serves as producer, while Australian director Mark Molloy makes his feature film debut with the action-comedy.
