Eddie Hearn has said that Anthony Joshua believes this is his only chance to face Tyson Fury, with 'AJ' having been given the chance to enter talks by Fury following his defeat to Oleksandr Usyk last month.
Usyk beat Joshua in both of their fights, but Joshua was vastly improved in their rematch which took place in Saudi Arabia on August 20, earning a split decision.
Many expected that the next big move in the heavyweight division would see Fury fight Usyk in a unification bout, but it is Joshua who appears to have been given that chance.
As it currently stands, Frank Warren has confirmed that negotiations are '90% done' but has urged those with an interest to be cautious as a fight can never be guaranteed to be taking place with all of the moving parts involved in such negotiations.
