Ed Sheeran installs a beehive at his 16-acre Suffolk home to become a beekeeper

It sounds like Ed Sheeran has been picking up new hobbies, now he’s taking some time out of the spotlight. The 29-year-old singer announced in June last year that he’d be taking a break from music and social media, after touring non-stop with his Divide tour since 2017.

And time at home has reportedly led to Ed focusing on becoming self-sufficient at his 16-acre home in Suffolk. The Sun reports that the Shape Of You hit-maker has installed a wooden beehive in the grounds of his home, as he’s keen to make his own honey with his own bees.

A source said: ‘Ed’s placed a wooden beehive at the edge of his estate. He’s already got other produce growing and some animals, so he’s clearly enjoying the idea of that lifestyle.’ Ed has apparently
