Ed Sheeran ‘going back to daddy duties’ with newborn baby after emotional Jubilee performance

The Bad Habits singer was a highlight at this weekend’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations, delivering an emotional performance of his ballad Perfect in honour of the Queen’s 70-year reign at the Pageant on Sunday.
Moments after his acoustic version of the track, Her Majesty appeared on the balcony at Buckingham Palace alongside senior members of the Royal family, just behind the stage where Ed had performed.
Ed’s set came just a week after he performed at BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Coventry, so it’s no surprise he’s ready to retreat back to his family for a while.
During an interview with Anita Rani on BBC One before his performance, the singer said: ‘I’m going back [to daddy duties] after this.
