Since waking up from a coma, EastEnders villain Nish Panesar has been back to his dastardly ways, tormenting ex-wife Suki with the knowledge he has about his Christmas Day attack.

With Nish heading to the police next week to tell them who he thinks was responsible for hitting him over the head at Christmas, star Navin Chowdhry has given his thoughts on his character's latest actions - and what could happen with him and the Six.

Next week will see Nish introduce girlfriend Kat to his dodgy divorce lawyer in the hopes of seizing her half of ex Phil Mitchell's fortune.

But when things don't go to plan and Kat turns to Eve, Stacey and Suki for help, Nish decides to take revenge by heading to the police. “I think it’s a desperate backup plan," Navin said. "I think it was material he always thought he could use, but I don’t think he ever felt he would have needed to. "The plan was going so well, he was literally a signature away from acquiring 50 percent of Phil’s assets and right at the eleventh hour it’s gone wrong, and so this is a desperate man.
