EastEnders star Cheryl Fergison has bagged herself a new job shortly after it was revealed she had been selling her old scripts for cash.

Just days ago, Cheryl revealed exclusively to OK! that she had been selling scripts from the BBC One soap and other merchandise to "put a roof over [her] head" after being "overlooked" for acting roles.

However Cheryl’s luck has turned and on social media, she has shared the exciting news that she will be appearing in pantomime this December.

Cheryl will be playing the role of Fairy Godmother in a production of Cinderella in The Cresset, Peterborough. Fans were equally happy for Cheryl and rushed to congratulate the star on her new role with one writing: “Aww that is fantastic Cheryl x”.
