The actor, who plays Ben Mitchell in the BBC soap, said he had been sleeping peacefully and "trying not to have palpitations" when he was awoken by loud drilling.
The 25-year-old questioned if the work should even be going on while the UK is in lockdown. In a bid to get the coronavirus pandemic under control, Prime Minister Boris Johnson says people should only travel to work if it's essential.
People should now only go outside to buy food or medicine, for one daily round of exercise or to help an elderly or vulnerable person.
