EastEnders fans have been gripped in recent episodes of the BBC soap as Stacey Slater, played by actress Lacey Turner, was put in a difficult position when her loved ones stepped in amid creepy teacher Theo Hawthorne stalking her.Jean Slater had encouraged the pair to go on a date which resulted in Eve Unwin inviting Theo to be Stacey’s plus-one at Kathy Beale’s wedding, although problems had first arisen when Stacey realised she only had platonic feelings for Theo following their date.
It was Stacey's ex-husband Martin Fowler that was forefront of her mind following an explicit dream about him and she invited Martin to be her plus-one instead following a boozy night at Kathy's hen party, reports the Metro.Waking up the next morning, however, she had completely forgotten about a message she had sent to Martin so was confused to find Theo and Martin both in her house and decided to take Theo after he complained about purchasing a new suit for the occasion.Despite taking Theo on a sympathy vote, it didn't stop Stacey from sharing an intimate moment with Martin, however things quickly became awkward when he wound Theo up with the fact the pair had shared a kiss.Later on, mum Jean revealed she couldn't stop thinking about the kiss she witnessed and explained she'd only pushed Stacey towards Theo because she didn’t think she had any other options, but the idea of her getting back with Martin was ‘wonderful’.Stacey pointed out the fact Martin only showed a peaked interest when he thought Theo was into her, but Jean urged her daughter to not prevent her own happiness so she pulled Theo aside and explained she only wanted to be friends.Despite being left shocked, Theo agreed that they could remain platonic friends whilst he
