EastEnders is working with Samaritans on emotional new scenes, as Mick Carter will contemplate taking his own life on New Year's Eve.

Fans have seen Danny Dyer's character spiral, after it was revealed he was the victim of sexual abuse when he was 12 years old.

He has never been able to process what happened to him, and was recently seen denying it was abuse - having been manipulated by his abuser Katy Lewis who was his care worker when he was a child.

Mick learned he had a daughter named Frankie, Katy's child, and when Frankie realised the truth she was horrified. But Katy has since been in Walford denying anything ever happened, or that Frankie is his child - and she continues to manipulate and warp Mick's memories in the coming episodes.
