The EastEnders actor who played Gianni Di Marco made a return to television screens 22 years after departing Albert Square.
The 'Italian stallion' made an appearance on Channel 4 programme Steph's Packed Lunch whilst cooking in the special 'Soap Star Snacks' segment.
Marc, who starred on the BBC soap from 1998 to 2000, chatted about his EastEnders audition with host Steph McGovern. He whipped up a smoked salmon tagliatelle and shared how he landed the part six months after drama school and even admitted telling a big "fib" to win the role, the Mirror reported.
The Irish-born actor revealed: "I told them I was half-Italian, I'm not - I'm Irish, shoutout to my family in Ireland."The actor, who is a father to two kids, daughter Grace, aged three, and Leo, 18 months, said: "I don't know what I was doing before I was a dad." Marc had a pinnacle role in the feud between the Di Marcos and the Mitchells, but after leaving the show in 2000, the star revealed he was suffering from depression.
