As part of an ongoing storyline regarding mental health, BBC One viewers will have seen Tameka’s character Kim Fox suffer from panic attacks after being involved in a car accident earlier this year.
After Kim spent some time in jail due to her involvement in the crash, it has only been following her release that she has been able to open up about her mental health struggles and viewers look set to watch her journey continue.
Throughout her time on the show, Tameka has proved herself to be a popular resident on the square and in 2012 she scooped the award for ‘Funniest Female’ at the Inside Soap Awards.Then, in 2022, she scooped the award for ‘Best Comedy Performance’ at the British Soap Awards.
