It’s not every day that Royalty steps foot in EastEnders’ Albert Square, but that all changed this week when Prince Charles and his wife Camilla were welcomed to Walford.The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall visited the set of the iconic BBC soap on Thursday 31 March to meet the cast and crew, from Mick Carter actor Danny Dyer to Steve McFadden, who plays Phil Mitchell. Whilst there, the couple also watched as a special street party involving the residents was filmed to mark the Queen’s upcoming Platinum Jubilee, which takes place in June.There were also plenty of other memorable moments - from Charles, 73, handing his coat to EastEnders’ actress Letitia Dean, who stars as Sharon Watts, to Camilla, 74, fangirling over Strictly Come Dancing winner Rose Ayling-Ellis, aka Frankie Lewis.
