Eastenders Jessie Wallace and Lacey Turner head back to Albert Square
evoke.ieBBC soap, like many others, had to halt production due to the pandemic and is due to return next month since filming has resumed.Along with the soap’s return, two familiar faces, Lacey Turner who plays Stacey Fowler along with Jessie Wallace, who plays Kat Slater, will be appearing on our screens after both actors had some time off.Jessie Wallace was suspended from set after reports emerged that she had turned up drunk to work during filming.Her character was temporarily written out of the soap after her behaviour was ‘called into question,’ and it was claimed that she was summoned into a crisis meeting with bosses.However, after her time off, she is now returning to Albert Square along with actress Lacey Turner, who was on maternity leave.
