The beloved Eastenders' character, Ian Beale, portrayed by soap stalwart Adam Woodyatt, has been witnessed behaving rather peculiarly this week in Walford, fuelling speculations about a concealed secret.

Ian's shifty antics, which included clandestine phone conversations, haven't gone unnoticed by his family. Initially, he also seemed averse to the idea of discussing his son Bobby's (Clay Milner Russell) imminent 21st birthday party plans.

Ian finds himself at the receiving end of a curious text message asking, "Can we meet tomorrow morning? " When queried by Peter (Thomas Law) and Cindy (Michelle Collins), he reveals his intent to rejoin local council politics, leaving the pair baffled nonetheless.
