On Tuesday (July 24), the BBC One soap unveiled a heart-breaking twist for Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) as her son Tommy Moon (Sonny Kendall) violently lashes out at her.Tommy's anger reached boiling point when Kat and her ex-husband Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) failed to repair their fractured relationship, leading him to express his wish to live with Phil despite the family's break up.
However, when Kat spits some harsh truths about Phil, Tommy reacts with fury, hitting his mother in the stomach. In response, Kat pushes her son away, only to receive a stern warning from him.
During the latest visit to Walford, Tommy's volatile streak continued when the teenager refused to go on holiday with Kat, his dad Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) and his siblings, reports the Daily Star.
