EastEnders fans spot hidden reference to Keanu's murder in Dean trial scene as they say soap is 'getting good again'
ok.co.ukEastEnders has launched into Keanu Taylor's murder trial, with Dean Wicks (portrayed by Matt Di Angelo) potentially facing jail time for a chilling crime he didn't commit.
However, some fans have been left side tracked by one detail, as they claim the soap 'is getting good again.' As regular viewers of the BBC soap will recall, Keanu (Danny Walters) assaulted Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) on Christmas Day and threatened to abscond with her young son Albie.
Keanu attempted to strangle Sharon in The Queen Vic before being halted by Linda Carter (Kellie Bright), who stabbed him in the back.The Six, comprising Linda, Sharon, Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner), Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth), Denise Fox (Diane Parish), and Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) all pinned the murder on Dean.
However, Dean, who had previously assaulted Linda, is yet to be declared guilty as his trial commenced during Monday's episode (September 2), with The Six making an appearance and providing witness statements.
