EastEnders fans name Cindy’s 'killer' after Christmas attack - and it’s not who you'd expect

No Christmas special of EastEnders would be complete without plenty of drama, and this year was no different. On Wednesday, 25 December’s episode, viewers watched as Cindy Beale’s affair with Junior Knight was exposed - something which left her fiancé Ian absolutely devastated.

As fellow residents of Albert Square turned their backs on Cindy, she decided to make her way to King’s Cross to seek new surroundings.

However, as she made her way to the station, Cindy was attacked with a spade by a mysterious figure. As a result, not only have fans questioned whether she’ll make it out alive, but they’ve begun speculating about the identity of the attacker too.

At the time of the attack, Cindy had rubbed several Walford residents the wrong way, though fans have theorised that Kojo Asare could have been behind the attack.
