EastEnders fans are calling for a major change to be made ahead of the iconic BBC soap's 40th anniversary live episode this week.
Beginning all the way back in 1985, the last four decades have seen various generations of TV viewers falling in love with the residents of Albert Square.
Despite this week featuring an explosion in the Queen Vic, a wedding and the show's first live episode since 2015, viewers had something else on their minds on Monday.
Since 2021, EastEnders has premiered a large portion of its episodes from 6am on the BBC iPlayer, meaning fans no longer had to wait until dinnertime to find out what drama was going down in East London.
