Former EastEnders actress Cheryl Fergison has been showered in heaps of praise from her online followers after sharing a glowing photo of herself on Instagram.The ex-soap star, 58 - who previously played fan-favourite Heather Trott on the the much-loved London soap - took to social media on Tuesday to show off the results of her dramatic weight loss.

Sharing a snap of herself during a scenic hike through the countryside, Cheryl looked undeniably radiant, showing off her brand new physique in a simple grey t-shirt and rolled up denim jeans. "Lucky Heather", she captioned the snap, as she posed before a plush heather bush, donning a chic cross-body bag and wearing her hair in its natural curly state.

And fans were quick to gush over the Albert Square alum's impressive transformation, with one commenting: "Looking good love!" Another wrote, "Wow you look amazing," whilst a third added, "You look great Cheryl x". "Looking beautiful as always Cheryl," wrote another of her 51,100 Instagram followers.The former actress - who took on a new project earlier this year, playing the role of the Evil Queen in a pantomime production of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs - also used the comment section to poke fun at herself.

After one of her followers commented on the snap, "Heather wasn't lucky though", referring to the character's tragic ending, she replied, "Nope she wasn't and neither was my bank account after I left [laughing emojis]".
