EastEnders' Phil Mitchell was left stunned when he popped into the Minute Mart, and saw how much they were charging for face masks.
Wanting to do their bit amid the coronavirus pandemic, the Panesars have been selling face coverings in their store. Phil picked one off the shelf during Thursday's episode, noting they were on a discount.
The tag read £1.50 which seemed like a bargain, but Phil was shocked when he realised how much they actually cost. In fact he was so alarmed he confronted shop worker Honey, after realising the masks were £8 per item.
Judging by Phil's comments, they were still £8 too despite the label. He wasn't the only one outraged though, with viewers also gobsmacked by the price of them.
