EastEnders star Danielle Harold, who played the beloved fan-favourite character Lola Pearce on the BBC One soap, has shared an emotional message with her fans after winning big at the British Soap Awards on Saturday, June 3.
The actress posted a thank you message to her fans as she reflected on taking the gong for "Best Leading Performer" at the ceremony, which is airing on ITV tonight (June 6).
Sharing a snap of her sobbing on stage, the popular star admitted she was still taking it in. "I’m still in shock, I can’t thank everyone that took the time to vote for me enough," Danielle captioned her post. "It really means the world and the love I felt in that room I have no words for except thank you, thank you so much." Fans flocked to the comments to share their love for the star and her character, who sadly died last week following a harrowing battle with brain cancer during last Wednesday's instalment.
