EastEnders actress Danielle Harold has opened up about her "beautiful" final episode on the BBC One soap, which will feature her character Lola Pearce's heartbreaking death.
The 29 year old has wrapped up filming the heartbreaking scenes, after Lola received her brain tumour diagnosis last year, which included her enduring long and gruelling bouts of chemo.Tragically, Lola was told that the treatment wasn't working, and that she had just months to live - with her death expected to be shown on the soap very soon.
Danielle, who has played the character for eight years, has confessed that she "didn't want to read the script" that would detail her character's final scenes, as she said she didn't pick them up from the collection desk for "ages" as she wanted to wait "until I was ready".
She then said that it took her a further two weeks to actually sit down and read the script, which left her in tears as she found out what she'd be filming.
