EastEnders' Mick Carter is still struggling with facing his past, after opening up about the sexual abuse he suffered at the hands of his care worker as a child.
Aged 12, he was sexually abused and groomed by Katy Lewis, before she suddenly disappeared shortly after. A few months ago, Frankie Lewis, the daughter of Katy, showed up in Walford and claimed to the the daughter of Mick.
The news, and the later arrival of Katy, soon triggered a downward spiral for Mick who was unable to face his past - with events coming to a head when he contemplated taking his own life.
Mick has since told his wife Linda and others about what happened but has decided to not go to the police, while he is getting to know Frankie.
