EastEnders has confirmed the date it will be finally back on our screens after the 12-week lockdown break. The BBC revealed the soap will be back on from Monday September 7th, after the coronavirus pandemic forced the show to stop filming, and it ran out of episodes.
Not only that, but Stacey Fowler (Lacey Turner) will also be making a comeback as she returns to Walford to deal with her ailing mother Jean and her estranged husband Martin.
The soap will be back on our screens four times a week with 20-minute long episodes in what has been dubbed "series two" of the explosive soap.
