Cheryl Fergison has opened up to fans about her relationship with her brother, who she met for the first time just 11 years ago.The 56 year old, who is best known for playing Heather Trott in the long running BBC soap EastEnders from 2007 to 2012, posted a sweet snap of herself and her sibling as they spent quality time together.

She captioned the picture: “So my brother is coming up for a visit today we are like two peas in a pod … there’s always laughs & fun times when we get together.” Cheryl then explained that the siblings found each other in 2011, describing their story as “amazing” and “emotional”.

Cheryl is currently promoting her appearance in the new CBBC series Dodger, inspired by the story of Oliver Twist.
