digitalspy.comCongratulations are in order for EastEnders and Grange Hill star Lee MacDonald, who has got engaged to his partner Jess. The actor famously played Zammo McGuire on Grange Hill in the 1980s, and revealed on social media that he popped the question to his now-fiancée.
Sharing a picture of the pair together – Lee holding her hand to show off the ring – the star wrote: "My partner Jess 'JUST SAID YES'!
Wedding next." The actor took on the role of Zammo on the classic series between 1982 and 1987, and was the face of an anti-drugs campaign, 'Just Say No', after a heroin storyline.
Lee later became a boxer, and also began to run a locksmith and key-cutting business, though last year returned to the world of entertainment to appear on EastEnders.
