Voters in East Staffordshire, Staffordshire, have had their say in the 2023 local elections. Seats were up for grabs in the wards including Anglesey, Bagots & Needwood, Blythe, Branston, Brizlincote, Burton & Eton, Crown, Dove, Heath, Horninglow & Outwoods, Shobnall, Stapenhill, Stramshall & Weaver, Stretton, Town and Winshill Ahead of the election East Staffordshire Borough Council was controlled by the Conservatives.

Mayoral elections are also taking place in Bedford, Leicester, Mansfield and Middlesborough. Voters were only electing their local councillors in this election with the next General Election not scheduled until 28 January 2025 at the very latest.
Polls closed at 10pm on Thursday, May 4, with the count taking place on Friday morning. You can see the full results for East Staffordshire as they are declared following the count on Friday, with the final results expected from around 2pm.
