Trains between East Kilbride and Glasgow Central face further cancellations due to electrifications works. The East Kilbride and Barrhead corridors are being upgraded as part of wider plans to decarbonise all rail passenger services in Scotland by 2035.

This saw trains between East Kilbride and the city cancelled this weekend, with no services next weekend either due to preparatory works on the line.
