East Kilbride has decked the malls to help spread a little festive cheer – although Santa and his elves will sadly not be dropping by his grotto this year due to the COVID pandemic.

There is no doubt it has been a difficult year for communities everywhere, including East Kilbride, but as we head into the festive season, EK, East Kilbride is looking to bring a bit of Christmas cheer to the town.

The centre will have decorations and lights throughout the malls, including a glittering Christmas tree in Centre West to welcome visitors.

Although Santa won’t be visiting the centre in person this Christmas, The Entertainer toy shop has a Santa letter service to allow all the good boys and girls to drop off their letters, while the big man himself.
