A 0-0 draw away to East Stirlingshire last midweek is the only blemish after six games and Paton says they must up their levels.

The former Partick Thistle and Dundee United midfielder admits he expected more from Kilby at this stage and hopes they finally click against Kelty.“I don’t think we’ve been good enough so far,” he said.“We’ve not been as good as I’d hoped we would be.“We’ve looked good in flashes, but we haven’t had a performance where you would say: ‘wow, we are a really good side’.”There’s a lot of new players and it takes time to gel, but I feel we’ve had enough time to gel and we can’t use that as an excuse anymore.“Some things haven’t clicked for us and we’ve tinkered with a few things, so hopefully it all comes together on.
