Eamonn said: “Fergie’s brilliant because he’s got an amazing memory, an amazing brain, and he’ll come to me and say ‘Do you still live at’ and then he gives you the address.” He added: “Sir Alex Ferguson remembers people’s names, sends you Christmas cards, it’s really that personal touch with people.
Eamonn, 61, said when he moved home he thought he would Fergie’s would forget his annual festive greeting. But Sir Alex, 79, insisted on finding out where his pal had moved to and sent the hand-written card.
