Eamonn Holmes filmed a video of his wife Ruth Langsford trying out a medical treatment in a bid to recover from an illness she's been battling all week.The TV presenter has been notably absent from Loose Women, after sharing with her fans that she is suffering from a chest infection.

Now Ruth has uploaded a video filmed by her GB News host husband showing her inhaling hot steam in an effort to get herself better.The ITV panellist revealed that doctors have advised her to 'steam' herself twice a day.

In the clip, Eamonn is heard asking: "What are you doing?" to which she replies: "Steaming." "Does it get rid of blackheads?

Take deep breaths," Eamonn jokes, with a poorly Ruth responding: "Don't make me laugh, it will make me cough." At the end of the video, she is seen gesturing to Eamonn to stop filming her.
