A relationship guru has provided insights on what three key elements estranged couples like Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford might ponder if they're contemplating a reunion down the line.

The former This Morning presenters stunned followers in May when they announced their divorce after a 14-year union. While Eamonn and Ruth, 64, have kept mum about the cause of their parting, and despite both still donning their nuptial bands, the split appears resolute.

Nevertheless, in the event of a possible change of heart, relationship expert Jesper Jensen from ExpertsEnAmour has highlighted how a come-back could materialise.Speaking exclusively to Reach PLC, Jensen advised: "Eamonn and Ruth have a history, and sometimes that can work in your favour if both have worked through past issues.

For any chance of getting back together, there needs to be a genuine desire to forgive, heal, and rebuild trust."Ignoring these aspects, he cautioned, will likely lead to "the same old problems will resurface".
