Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford enjoy rare date night by phonelight

Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes lead very busy lives, but managed to fit in a romantic date night on Tuesday evening. The This Morning presenting duo, both 60, went out for dinner together but the restaurant was so dark that they could only read the menu by using the torches on their phones.

Sitting at the dining table on opposite sides, they were hunched over as they struggled to read the menu in the strangely dark venue.

Ruth looked typically glam in a red, black and white patterned top, while Eamonn kept covered in a black jumper with a white top underneath.

They weren't alone on their date, as Eamonn revealed in the comments that they were joined by one of his sons, who snapped the picture.
