The telly veteran, 61, and his wife Ruth Langsford, 60, used to host the show every Friday and provide holiday cover for Holly and Phil but were recently replaced by Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary.
Alison and Dermot have taken over their Friday slots but Eamonn and Ruth will still fill in during school holidays. They hosted the show all last week during half term, but they now won't return to This Morning until Easter.
Today was Holly and Phil's first show back, and Eamonn admitted he's already missing his job. In a post on Twitter, Eamonn shared a video montage of the pair best bits from last week and told fans
