This is much the same for This Morning hosts and husband and wife team Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford who have decided they will spend the holidays apart this December with an entire sea between them.
The pair, who are from Northern Ireland and England respectively, have often been caught in the conundrum of where to spend Christmas but after the difficult Christmas in lockdown that was 2020, with families forced apart, they have decided to spend it with their own mothers, in different countries.
