Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) Cold Weather Payments have been triggered for more than 200,000. A total of 211 postcodes in England and Wales are now due to receive an extra £25 to go towards their heating bills as temperatures drop.
The latast areas to receive the money are postcodes in Oxfordshire, Yorkshire, Northumberland, Norfolk, Staffordshire, and Powys - with the payment triggered on Saturday, January 13.
