DVSA confirms when driving tests and lessons in England can restart

Car driving tests and driving lessons were suspended when England went into lockdown in January - but the DVSA has announced the dates they will restart.

Driving lessons will be allowed to take place from April 12, while the first driving tests will take place on April 22. The DVSA has also announced that theory tests will be allowed to take place from April 12.

If you have previously had a driving test cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic, the DVSA will contact you to rearrange the test.
