Dustin Diamond's girlfriend has opened up about his tragic final days before he died from cancer this week. The Saved By The Bell actor died on Monday, just three weeks after being diagnosed with stage four small-cell lung carcinoma.

He was just 44-years-old. His girlfriend, known as Tash, has revealed when she last spoke to him as his friend said he was "scared, in pain and didn't want to die" in the final few days of his life.

Dustin had been hospitalised on Friday, before being released around noon on Monday (US time) and taken to a friend's house for hospice care.

Tash and the friend were preparing his bedroom and Dustin was still on the hospital bed in the living room where she found him not breathing.
