Dusan Vlahovic has broken silence on his January switch to Juventus amid 'interest' from Manchester City. The 22-year-old was reported to have attracted Premier League suitors this month and City have long since been credited with identifying the Serbian as a potential alternative to Erling Haaland or Harry Kane.
Having coasted to a third Premier League title in four seasons, City broke the nine-figure barrier to sign £100m man Jack Grealish from Aston Villa last summer - but figures in the boardroom were priced out of a follow-up move for Kane as he, reluctantly, pledged his future to Tottenham.
Despite the impending arrival of Argentine prospect Julian Alvarez from River Plate, the Blues have made Haaland their top target for next summer and interest in Kane could also be revived.
Vlahovic is now beyond the question for City and Arsenal, though, after the 14-cap international signed for the Old Lady from fellow Serie A outfit Fiorentina in an initial £58m deal.
