Just when you thought things couldn’t get any more scary in the city - the Dundead 2022 line-up gets announced. Bosses of Dundee’s cult horror film festival have warned this year’s selection is packed with ‘gloriously gruesome’ films from around the world.

Organisers are celebrating the tenth instalment of the iconic event at the DCA. There will be horrifying previews, spine-tingling premieres and a gloriously gruesome deep-dive into the cinematic world of vampires.

Taking place from Thursday 28 April to Sunday 1 May , it’s kicking things off with the traditional Dundead Film Quiz, putting punters’ horror film knowledge to the test for the chance to win some creepy prizes.

Then, over the weekend, they’ll be bringing audiences six brand new scares alongside six classic vampire tales. These include the best new horror highlights with special preview screenings of We're All Going to the World's Fair - an intriguing and timely found footage nightmare from writer-director Jane Schoenbrun and Dashcam - Rob Savage's provocative and gory follow-up to Zoom horror smash Host.
