EXCLUSIVE: Following an award-winning seven-year run on Comedy Central‘s The Daily Show, correspondent and contributor Dulcé Sloan has exited the late-night political news satire.
This was an amicable parting of ways, sources said, as Sloan’s deal was up and she’s relocated from New York to L.A. to focus more on her acting and stand-up.
Her last episode aired in December. Currently, Sloan is working on a new comedy special and launching a new tour which will include a week-long stint at The Soho Theatre in London in March.
She will also continue her work on Fox’s hit animated series The Great North, which just premiered its fifth season. Sloan’s is the first big departure from The Daily Show since that of Roy Wood Jr., who exited as correspondent after eight years in October 2023.
