Duffy felt ‘liberated’ by sharing rape ordeal as she urges fans to speak out on struggles

Duffy has invited fans to talk with her about their lives and experiences, saying she was ‘liberated’ when she opened up about her own harrowing experience of rape.

The Mercy singer bravely revealed in February that the reason she disappeared from the spotlight was that she had been kidnapped and sexually assaulted.

And after detailing the devastating ordeal on her website, the 35-year-old has turned her attention to her fans and followers during the pandemic, to ask how they are doing.
