Duchess Sophie wears jewellery with very special meaning at poignant royal event

She was stunning in a bespoke black velvet Suzannah Grandad dress, paired with Christian Dior patent leather pumps. Her accessories included a regimental brooch from the Queen's Own Yeomanry, where she serves as Royal Colonel, and a poppy brooch.
Kate Middleton was also present, marking her fourth public appearance this year alongside her husband, who recently returned from a four-day trip to Cape Town for his Earthshot Prize.
Sophie stood next to her husband, Prince Edward, along with Princess Anne, her husband Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, and the Duke of Kent.The King led the event, having become Patron of the Royal British Legion earlier this year.
