The hired 4x4 was being driven at almost 61mph - twice the speed limit - by Ali.Ali had been stopped at a traffic light moments earlier, but accelerated hard once the lights turned green, even speeding up just one second prior to impact with Mr Olawumi.Police and paramedics were scrambled to the scene, but tragically Mr Olawumi died lying in the road.An investigation revealed that Ali had cocaine and cannabis in his system at the time of the collision at 9.53pm.He was seven times over the legal driving limit of controlled drug Benzoylecgonine - the main metabolite of cocaine.It was also uncovered that Ali had fraudulently used his brother's driving licence to hire the Range Rover, as he was too young to satisfy.
