George Thomason says the competition in the Bolton Wanderers midfield drives him on and outlined the hard work he has put in to ensure he is in the mix to be included in the Whites' engine room.
The 21-year-old is actually now the first-team player who has been at Wanderers the longest out of the current squad. He was signed by Ian Evatt's predecessor Keith Hill in January 2020.
Since then and loan spells at Bamber Bridge, Thomason is a fully fledged part of Ian Evatt's first-team squad. He has more than 50 appearances to his name. Thomason put in a brilliant performance and was regarded by many as the man of the match. Thomason is part of an intensely competitive central midfield area of the Wanderers squad.
