The 21-year-old is actually now the first-team player who has been at Wanderers the longest out of the current squad. He was signed by Ian Evatt's predecessor Keith Hill in January 2020.
Since then and loan spells at Bamber Bridge, Thomason is a fully fledged part of Ian Evatt's first-team squad. He has more than 50 appearances to his name.
