Motorists could risk being charged with careless driving if they fail to follow road rules, even if they are moving out of the way of an emergency vehicle.
Rule 219 of the Highway Code says motorists must take the appropriate action to let an emergency vehicle pass, while still complying with all traffic signs, Bristol Live reports.
